Our History
Regional Therapeutic Homes Ltd (The company’s abbreviated reference will be RTH) is a private Children’s Residential provision established in April 2021 by two Directors who have a combined total of over 20 years of full-time professional experience in working with children in the care system. This includes working in a range of front line services as well as the fostering sector. They currently operate a successful fostering agency which has been rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted and is a lead competitor in the market due to their dynamic skills and ability to lead a team.
We are experienced practitioners within this sector, we understand the need to get it right and we feel there is a gap in the market based on this recent data for an experienced provider who can deliver and meet the demand. Since operating regional fostering services, we have gained invaluable insight into the services offered by some of the provisions in the market. We share the frustrations from our commissioners we work alongside as we have first hand experience of children needing to move from fostering to residential provisions. Children have to move significant distances from their communities due to lack of provisions available. Therefore we not only understand the level of service required, we have spent 7 years obtaining valuable insight into this field which faces constant critique and pressure.
Meet The Directors
Hannah Farrell
Director
Hannah Farrell, director, is able to offer bespoke care to children whilst maintaining value for money with the commissioners she works with and offering a service of excellence to the children in her care and staff that work alongside her. Hannah has led Regional Fostering services for the past 6 years a senior manager in operations. She has secured various tenders and contracts with partner authorities and worked externally with other agencies to ensure the team around the child remains focussed on the child’s outcomes. She is able to lead a team to be creative with a passion for learning and development and has created bespoke systems and structures to ensure the child’s needs are given paramount consideration. Hannah has an NVQ level 5 in management and she has 10 years experience of working in Social Work Child Protection. She will be responsible for reporting to Ofsted, HR compliance and the management of the work team.
Faraz Agha
Director
Faraz Agha, is a director for Regional Therapeutic Homes. Faraz is a creative and innovative leader where his past examples in business within the care sector evidence his ability to lead a team. Faraz’s passion is to provide tailored support which gives children the best chance in life. He has managed other organizations at senior level and has been the Decision Maker, responsible individual and managing director for Regional Fostering Services for the past 7 years. He has lead the team to achieve Outstanding with Ofsted and now wants to embark on a new journey to provide residential homes for children. He is able to see that the demand is high and with his skills and expertise believes this provision can also become lead in the market. Faraz Agha holds a BA (Hons) in Social Work and a Diploma and a NVQ Level 4 in Management Award. Faraz has over 20 years’ experience in the social care sector.
